Building a digital workshop

Most portfolios present finished work behind glass. I wanted something closer to a workshop: notes on the table, working instruments, and enough visible structure to understand how an idea was made.

Pages with working parts

The writing remains ordinary, durable text. Interactive components appear only where they make an idea easier to feel or explore. That keeps the article readable without JavaScript while giving individual posts room to behave differently.

The dial does not need to accomplish anything grand. Its job is to prove that a post can contain a small, focused instrument without making every page carry the same runtime.

Constraints as material

The site builds to static files and runs behind one Caddy process. That constraint is useful: every dynamic flourish has to justify its weight, and the result is easy to archive, deploy, and understand.
